Race Singlet Designs Are UP! Next GTNS Race Kunanyi Mountain Run. BTU Standard Entries Closing Soon, Wild Earth Training Camp

Race Singlet Designs are UP!

We are proud to announce that we’ve used an Australian Indigenous supplier to create our high-quality and stunning race singlets for the BTU2024.

For the BTU2024, we’ve taken inspiration from the iconic Cabbage Tree Palm (binkar), which is located on the BTU course and on the trails, especially prominent on Double Break at Mount Nebo.

Here are some fun Cabbage Tree Palm (binkar) Facts

  1. The Cabbage Tree is one of the tallest native palms in Australia.

  2. The cabbage tree palm thrives in moist sclerophyll forests and rainforest margins.

  3. The growing tip of the palm is edible and can be served as vegetables! Imagine your kids eating them!

  4. The tree’s fibrous bark can be made into lines, and its leaves can be used for weaving hats, baskets, and thatched roofing.

We are well into production of the Limited edition 2024 race singlets, so SIGN UP and secure your BTU 2024 souvenir singlet.

We still have spots in our Wild Earth BTU Training Camps with our stellar coaches, including Liam Mckenzie, Katie Dall, Jodie Oborne, and Susannah Harvey-Jamieson.

Our next training camp is on the 6th of April. You can choose from two distances.

  1. 30km

  2. 44km

We split the groups up depending on speed and ability so you get the most out of the day and are grouped with similar skilled runners. This means that you will also have two coaches in each group, so you can pick their brains and ask them everything about nutrition, hydration, night running, race strategy, recovery, injury prevention, and more! Plus you will receive a fantastic goodie bag from the team at Wild Earth!

There are still entries available, as well as reasonable flights and loads of accommodation in Hobart still available, so join US in Tassie 22nd - 24th March.

kMR registrations are still open for people to #runwithkunanyi with over 300 people have signed up for the #legendaryloop, the Mountain Run 25km (GTNS round 2). The kMR has now released the last 100 regos, which I have just nabbed an entry in.

There are also spots in the kMR Vertical Kilometre (where else in Aus can you run up 1000m vertical over just 5km?), the 66km (do it Solo or with a team), Foothills 9km, and our Kids Runs. There is even child minding if both parents want to race together or with each other! PLUS loads of things for your support crew to do while you are out racing.
